Pages are drawn in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded or saved. Most printers leave a small blank border, so lines stop a few millimeters before the edge of the sheet. Print at 100% scale or Actual size to keep the spacing exact.
How to make dot grid paper
Pick the distance between dots and the dot size, then print. A 5 mm grid with medium gray dots is a common choice for journals; larger spacing leaves more room for big handwriting or sketches.
- Use small, light dots when you want the page to look almost blank.
- Landscape pages work well for weekly spreads.
- Print several pages at once and punch them for a binder.
Common questions
What spacing do bullet journals use?
Many dotted notebooks use about 5 mm between dots. Try 5 mm first, then adjust if your writing feels cramped or loose.
Why are the dots so light?
Dots are meant to guide you without competing with what you write. Choose dark gray or a larger dot size if they are too faint on your printer.
