Your page
A full-page preview appears here once the page loads. It updates as you change any setting and prints exactly as shown.
Pages are drawn in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded or saved. Most printers leave a small blank border, so lines stop a few millimeters before the edge of the sheet. Print at 100% scale or Actual size to keep the spacing exact.
How to make isometric paper
Choose triangle lines or isometric dots and a grid size, then print. The grid has vertical lines plus lines running 30 degrees above and below horizontal, so cubes and boxes can be drawn along the grid without measuring angles.
- Dots keep the page lighter once you are used to the angles.
- Use 8 mm or 10 mm for children or for large, simple shapes.
- Shade the faces of a cube differently to make it look solid.
Common questions
What angle are isometric grid lines?
The slanted lines run at 30 degrees from horizontal in both directions, and the third set of lines is vertical.
What does the grid size measure?
It is the length of one side of each small triangle, which is also the distance between neighboring dots.
